A+ Parent Center

      Our A+ Parent Center is located in the main building of our school. It is housed in a large and comfortable room, well equipped with an extensive selection of materials to be checked out by parents. Our center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. A Community Involvement Specialist diirects and coordinates our A+ Parent Center.

     Our A+ Parent Center provides a variety of opportunities for parents to become involved in their children's education. An incredible array of workshops are conducted throughout the year.  These provide parents with skills to enable their children to increase academic achievement, build self-esteem, and improve their test taking skills. Parents are also provided  with a wide selection of resources, including reading materials, to promote greater shared-literacy experiences at home. English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes are also offered  to encourage parents to pursue a higher education. Additional activities include PTA meetings, the Bilingual Outreach Program, the District Advisory Council, and the Parent Advisory Council.  

The ESOL schedule is as follows:

Daytime ESOL classes:

Mon. - Thurs. 8:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

*Day Care available for children ages 2-4 yrs.

Saturday ESOL classes:

 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. 

 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
